Oh yes, I can swear by it. The holy grail of weight loss, health, well being is the magic word: metabolism. Just think about it: in a simplified but truthful metaphor, metabolism represents the gear your body is in. If your metabolism is sluggish, you’re less active, attentive, happy, and your body doesn’t burn much calories. If your metabolism on the contrary is high-gear, you make the best of the calories you put in, burn a lot of them while being active and full of energy all the time.
Therefore it’s only natural to try to understand what turns one’s metabolism on? Well, there are lots of theories out there and I think you’ll need to experiment to find what works for you.
